Registered Veterinary Nurse
City Vets in Belfast is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our compassionate team. The ideal candidate will have completed a recognised veterinary nursing qualification and be registered with the RCVS. We require a nurse who possesses excellent clinical skills, including anesthesia monitoring, surgical assistance, and patient care.
The role involves supporting our veterinary surgeons in consultations, surgeries, and emergency cases. Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for animal welfare are essential. Previous experience in a small animal practice is preferred. Essential Criteria:

RVN Qualification: Completion of a recognised veterinary nursing qualification and registration with the RCVS (Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons).

Clinical Skills: Proficient in anaesthesia monitoring, surgical assistance, and patient care.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.

Team Player: Capable of working collaboratively within a veterinary team, supporting veterinary surgeons in consultations, surgeries, and emergencies.

Animal Welfare Commitment: Genuine passion for animal welfare and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD): Participation in ongoing CPD activities to enhance veterinary nursing skills and knowledge.
